Best Memory for Mattie Sue- 'Going to Texas'! Hanging out with Nama all to herself for an entire weekend, swimming in 3 different pools, playing with cousins, Nama .T, Nama, Poppy, Auntie Jenny and the Tootles. Her favorite of the 3 pools was....Cindy's pool!
Best Memory for Malyn- 'Camping'! Malyn has been wanted to go camping since she saw that Olivia from Nickelodeon went camping. She loved getting her stick on fire with Melody, walking in the woods, water park and sleeping in the tent.
Best Memory for me- Camping and the Lazy River. I parked myself on the lazy river at the water park on the campground. Loved it. Highly recommend it!

Best Rescue- Nama to the rescue with the emergency appendix extraction! We had 8 days of unexpected fun together!!

Eli's Best Trick- Food!! He is now 10 1/2 months and all 23lbs of him is now loving food. Still no teeth.
Best Item of the Summer- Ergo Baby Carrier. Lifesaver at the beach, grocery store, camping, park play, etc. LOVE IT! This actually might make Product of the Year in my book. Item of the Summer #2 would have been this jacket Boo was wearing but it didn't fit around his gut so he didn't keep it.

Sweetest Sister Moment- Malyn and I walked Mattie Sue to her class on Thursday morning. When we said good bye she turned to Malyn and put her fist up. Malyn then put her fist up and the two of them did their secret handshake.....I didn't even know they had one!!! It was the sweetest thing ever and I left thinking....I'm so glad I have those two, and I'm so glad I get to drop them both off at school all day!!!!

The sister secret hand shake choked me up. Nothing better then picturing that, knowing they will be a reassuring comfort to each other if they see one another in the hall ways of school.
Diving boards are a beginning swimmers best friend. We loved having Mattie Sue.

gosh, there are some great ones in there--camping, the ergo, the lazy river. Good summer, all in all:) We should start our planning for next summer.

Oh Stace- your kids are just so very sweet. I love your moments and can even hear your laugh (I think I remember what it sounds like!) in the laugh out loud picture... and your girls are just so sweet. I teared up at your girls, too- that first year or two must have been so crazy with them so close in age, but the benefits- THE BENEFIts far outweigh that season.
