Auntie Jessica and cousin Ryan flew out for a fun long weekend! She once again was thrown into our Solace summer and all that it entails. We had our Beach Day on Saturday that included burying the kids in the sand, building sand pyramids, and riding the waves! Another successful event!

Jessica was so helpful and once again I was able to lean on her emotionally and physically. We had so much fun and laughed a ton at our kids. She left with a stronger heart for Solace and had some good ideas for next year. Solace San Antonio do I hear you calling?

Little Miss Jessica Mattie Sue! |
 |
| Awe, too fun having you here Jess and Ryan! |
I dropped off Naz and Lida to another host family this morning for they Disneyland trip! When Lida got in the car she busted out, 'Stacy, Naz, 18 days home!' (Actually 8 more but from the mouth of an Afghan 11 year old everything sounds precious so I thought I would share!)
4 notes:
Good for you for squeezing in at least one bath. Ocean water and pool water work too so they were semi clean. :)
Hummm wonder how long you went without a bath at that age. Maybe all summer when you gals hit the pool everyday for lessons in the morning then back for free swim all afternoon. :)
I'm glad to see Malyn loves riding waves and surfing. I'll be back next summer for another day of body surfing. Never to old for that.
You gave birth to yourself! Those pics made me want to look back at some old pics of you girls. I'm sure I have many of some of the same.
Hard to believe 8 more days left.
Another successful summer for your kindness and helping the children.
Love the last picture of Ryan and Jessica.
Love the cousin photos! Looks like everyone had California fun!
So darn proud of you, Stace, for hosting family while participating in Solace. And then blogging about it! Does your energy ever run out? I need to know your secret...maybe the latte at Noah's?? Looks like you are having an amazing summer. I soooo hope we get back there to visit you one of these summers before our kids are too big!!
