Bags are packed!

This year we packed up 7 large suitcases with humanitarian needs to send back with the kids to Afghanistan. Nicole and I lined up all 7 bags and walked up and down filling the bags with...you name it! From school supplies to medical supplies we bought WalMart out of a number of things. It was neat to be able to reach your arm to the back on the 'pain reliever' stack and just domino all the boxes into our fat cart! With donated money (THANK YOU SUPPORTERS) we were able to fill all 7 bags! These are for the Solace kids to take back to their villages and communities to hand out. SO wish we could see their faces when they open these bags.
We then attacked the room!
And looky here what I found! I was rolling up her clothes then happened upon this lovely get up that I just HAD to try on! We were dying laughing at me. Just as I was putting it all on we got a call from one of the host moms that needed Naz to do some behavior management. So while we were taking these pics she was barking at the kids trying not to laugh. Sweet little moment I will always remember with Naz.
I walked down to show the girls and asked who I looked like.....'Mary! With baby Jesus'
The girls and I also packed up a backpack for Neelab! Gum, pictures, letters, drawings, school supplies and some! I can't believe its all coming to an end. What will the days be like without our Solace kiddos to enjoy, care for and love on?

This made my day, the comment "Mary with baby Jesus" is priceless.

I can't believe its over, and actually it's not because their stories will be told and impact many more, all thanks to your hard work.

Stacy, you're my hero. What an honor it is to be married to such a giving and loving person. Thanks for being such wonderful example to me and our children. You have done a great job this summer with Solace!
